Three Decades in the Investment Business
Damian Maggio has spent 30 years in the financial industry, and he has held nearly every leadership role a securities firm has. He began as a registered representative and rose through branch management, sales management and supervision to chief executive officer. Few fund managers have run the business from as many seats, and that range shapes how he manages Global Venture Management today.

Chief Executive Officer
As a chief executive officer, Damian Maggio set firm strategy, oversaw operations, finance, technology and compliance, and was accountable to regulators, clients and partners for every part of the business. He built and led the teams that ran it day to day.
Branch Management
s a branch manager, he ran full branch offices: recruiting and developing advisers, overseeing client accounts and holding responsibility for the branch’s results and its regulatory standing.
Sales Management
Damian Maggio has built and led sales organizations, setting goals, training representatives and creating the systems that let teams grow while serving clients to a consistent standard.
Supervision
As a FINRA-registered principal holding Series 24 and Series 79 licenses, he has supervised registered representatives and investment banking activity, reviewing accounts, transactions and communications and enforcing firm policies.
Regulatory Examinations and Audits
Damian Maggio has guided firms through dozens of regulatory examinations and audits, preparing books and records, responding to examiners and putting findings into practice. Few fund managers know the rules that govern investment firms as closely, or from as much direct experience.
Legal and Dispute Matters
Over three decades, he has worked closely with securities counsel on litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries and transactions. That experience gives him a practical understanding of securities law and of how legal risk is managed inside an investment firm.
Damian Maggio has managed private investment funds since 2017 and founded Global Venture Management in 2021. He brings all of that experience to GVM: the discipline of a firm leader, the eye of a supervisor and the compliance-first approach of someone who has worked through the examination process many times.
